That is remarkable when you think of something created over 2500 years ago. The Mayan Calendar is a series of very complex calendars that are joined together to create the most complex yet highly accurate calendar ever.
Where did the 12 21 2012 date come from? Within these different calendars, there are cycles. As when know through time that everything on this planet revolves around cycles. There are cycles that deal with humans, some deal with economies, some with weather, and others with wars. The Mayans were good at deciphering all these various cycles and came up with very long cycles and then down to very short cycles.
