The Renaissance palace survived a major 17th century earthquake completely in tact, which only adds to its charm. Originally conceived as a thoroughfare and meeting place for international merchants to trade, it is now home to an art gallery.
St Ignatius Church
This fine piece example of Baroque design is located in the city's Old Town and is a beautifully constructed and detailed church that will leave visitors in awe of its beauty.
Constructed over two centuries, it also serves as a venue for the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, which sees the city's Croatia hostels packed with travelers keen to experience this vibrant event.
The church also enjoys a unique historic atmosphere, lent to it by the surrounding ancient buildings of the Old Town that underline the huge sense of historical significance that Dubrovnik manages to conjure up among its visitors.
