There are virtually oodles of sites out there and dozens wow gold guides written on how to make gold in WoW. Some of them are good and well, others just plain stink. In fact I've known Orcs that smell better. Why do I say that? Because most are written around the assumption that you wish to pass All your time gold farming. You understand what I mean, expending countless hours grinding the same location and the same set of mobs till your brain bursts in boredom. The same thing can likewise be said for those guys that like to say, doing end game "daily" quests are the way to make more easy gold. Either way you slice it, it's down right boring. The next thing you know you're asking yourself the question, where did the fun go?
Listen learning how to make gold in wow doesn’t have to call for your main character grinding his or her face off just to feed the auction “alt”. As a matter of fact that isn't the way the game was meant to be enjoyed. Actually the whole idea of making gold in WoW should have zilch to do with your main character. Wouldn't it be nice if the game actually was about your auction alt feeding your main and not the other way around? It can be, let me suggest a couple of ways you can accomplish that.
Stop Using You Main Character for Gold Farming
The easiest way to turn the focus of your game around is to simply do that, stop using your main to run all over Azeroth just to feed your auction alt. It isn't effective, and once you learn how to make getting gold a separate aspect from your game play, you'll actually start making more gold per hour then you would mindlessly grinding. Now you can enjoy the game the way it weas intended, raiding, running instances and ganking lowbies just for the fun of it.
Stop Re-Selling Green and Blue Items.
Yes, you can make a lot of nice gold buying and reselling greens and blues but this isn't the best way to work the auction house. I'll prove it just go over to AllaKhazam ( a fantastic world of warcraft resource) and look up some of these blues and greens. What I like best about this resource is you can see the total number of sales for any given item across all the servers. So if you are not using this free resource you should. Very quickly you will discover that unless it's a very nice twink item the demand for any given blue or green is actually quite low. So what happens then when you engage in trying to buy and re-sell blues and greens? You risk not selling your item, which cuts into your auction house profits, due to fees.
If you really must get into re-selling blues and greens do it the smart way. For example, work out the cost of 1 strange dust or soul dust. Not the whole stack just the price of one single dust. Then buy up every green and blue item available for equal value or less and you'll turn a profit. I say this because most often as you disenchant an item you'll get 2 dusts or more from each disenchant. So by buying items for equal or lesser value then a single dust you can easily turn a profit because enchanting mats have no auction house fees.

The challenge was simple; see how much gold I could make in just 30 days on a brand new server, WITHOUT any help from high levels characters and WITHOUT any skills, using only Lowbie Alts.
