Ways to detect if you are being scammed by a large gay Russian scam ring out of Kazan:

1) all of these young men are 25-30, will come across quite innocent.

2) They will tell you all about their families and that they are persecuted for being gay. They love swimming, the color blue, Italian food, etc. They will also tell you of their first gay experience and 22 year old lover who cheat on them. They will tell you that they fear you may be a white slaver and ill take their passport and prostitute them once in USA.

3) They will tell you that they use internet cafe which is only open M-F, but that is a lie. Internet cafe is open 24/7. They are working out of an office that is only open M-F

4)They will tell you that they are gainfully employed M-F 9-5 or 10-6 but you will notice that all their emails to you are sent supposedly from internet cafe M-F betw 9-5 so how are they working and at cafe during the same hours?

5)None of them have phones and when it comes time for them to ask for money for a visa and passport they will ask you to wire the money to an uncle, possibly Ilyas Samegulin in Kazan since the home address that they have given you is fake.

6) All of the letters received by victims have been identical with only the senders name and recipient names different. They are form letters sent out automatically in response to your emails. You will notice that for the most part they do not answer questions which you may have posed in a prior letter.

Rule 1 - Don’t send Money
Rule 2- Remember Rule
